I am often overwhelmed by the majesty of God’s creation as I travel throughout Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Utah and parts of California, and the rest of the country, in search of that next wonderful image. I can instantly be drawn back to that time and space when I view these pictures and hope they give you the opportunity to be there too.
I often use multiple landscape exposures from a tripod for luminosity and focus stacking.Â
Sometimes I have to force myself to slow down, stop and go back to capture scenes along the way during my travels and to explore beyond the beaten path. Someone responded to one of my pictures they have been waiting for sky or the lighting to be just right to capture that image. I used to be like that. Now, I stop, set up for the capture and wait.
And image captures using “Raw” format are imperative to record the maximum amount of information to use in post-processing. I care about the final image no matter how it was captured; natural vs processed.Â
